At Nicotech, the Data Science (DS) direction has been developing for more than 10 years. A special feature of this division is that employees not only have modern tools for solving DS problems, but also have deep mathematical knowledge in the following areas:
1. Methods for solving optimization problems;
2. Mathematical statistics and random processes;
3. Neural networks.
Our Data Science division specializes in solving the following problems:
1. Solving optimization problems for exchange trading.
Example: Exchange problem (optimization problem) of calculating prices of the wholesale electricity market for the day ahead on the trading platform of ATS.
2. Problems of forecasting indicators (time series) based on statistical methods and machine learning methods.
3. Computer Vision Tasks.
Example: Classification by type of scanned images of documents in the organization (contracts, invoices, certificates of completion of work, invoices, etc.) and selection of significant information from documents (selection in the accounts of counterparties, invoice amounts, and other information).
