The Quality Assurance (QA) process permeates all stages of information systems development. The main objectives of this process are to define the methodology for ensuring the quality of the product being created, to integrate the testing process into the overall software development process, and to select tools to support business processes related to software quality assurance.
Quality specialists evaluate not only the finished system, but also the design documentation, which allows identifying errors before they are introduced into the software code. We believe it is fair that the sooner an error is detected, the cheaper it is.
An error found in the documentation is much easier to fix than one that has already been introduced into the architecture or code. That is why processes related to ensuring the quality of the product being created should begin with the start of the project.
